Mother's Day Special ❤️

Mother's Day- An incredibly special day where we honour and cherish our Mothers, Grand Mothers, 

Great-Grand Mothers, and 

Great-Great-Grand Mothers! 

See something in common with all 

of those above...Yes! 

You guessed it..."Mothers." 

Haha y'all are geniuses ;) 

Today's Post is completely and 100% about "Mothers!!"

Mothers, wonder women who were once young and unsure of what to do and what to expect...

brought forth new life into this world. 

Women who were brave enough to be jolted into this forever life-changing experience of Motherhood! 

With great pleasure these young women became and they for 

sure earned...the title of "Mom." 

For some, Mother's Day is a Holiday that fills their homes and hearts with true-joy and pure-happiness. 

While others this holiday maybe just yet, another painful reminder of the loss of a dear mother, or even 

the loss of a sweet child whom you were once "Mom" to. 

Mother's Day like every Holiday 

can be filled with many emotional moments, but today I so hope 

and pray that this day be filled 

with many new memories that will last a lifetime :) 

As I sat and watched 

"Cheaper by the dozen" 

last weekend I was reminded of how much a mom does in one day alone. 

Here is just a few things...

for the fun of it! 

A Mom is: 

-A Fix it Felix!! A Fixer of toys, shoes, iPods, Polly pocket rubber clothes, training wheels, button-up jackets, etc. 

-Doctor/Nurse

(She's a life saver at home!) 

-Cleaner of....ummm everything! 

-Famous Chef 

-Sewer and seamstress of...

Actually, never mind. 

Stitch it in the mall, here we come! 

-Finder of all missing socks 

-Diaper-bag wearing Hawtie ;) 

-Dog Walker 

-Shoulder to cry on...kinda like a human Kleenex! 

-Personal coat rack: 

"Mom, can you hold this?!?" 

-Counsellor 

-Hair dresser 

-Follower of Jesus 

-Fingerprints cleaner...I can hear it now: "Don't touch the windows 

I just...never mind they are dirty again." 

-Queen of Snuggles 

-Consequences list maker 

-Frugal Couponing Shopper  

-Accountant 

-Wall painter 

-Garbage collector 

-Constant Snack giver...it's like she's got a snacks vending machine in her purse! No wonder why it's so heavy!? Duh! 

-Diaper Changer (Yucky!!) 

-Load of laundry switcher...speaking of which I hear the washer screaming switch me! Ha! 

-Taxi Driver of the 'Mom Mobile'

-Sticky note writer #dontforget 

-Snot wiper 

-Soccer side lines Cheer Leader 

-Book reading master 

-Hand to hold, in the parking lots 

-Scheduling and Planner receptionist 

-Homework helper 

Oh! And did I forget to mention Mom is also "Wife"...but, that's a whole other post ;) 

I can't even imagine a day 

in the life of a Mom! 

These Women work wonders everyday and we sometimes don't even take 10 seconds, to stop and acknowledge the incredible amount of work they put in to make our homes run smoothly. 

So today STOP! Right now, think of everything your mom does for you, from doing your laundry, 

to cleaning up when you are sick... 

Come on! These women do all the work of a family for...FREE!? #amaazing 

Cherish your mother's...

Take them out for starbucks, 

go get your nails done together, 

Go on monthly shopping spree's! 

Become best friends with your mom :) 

She's got so much wisdom, 

she's just waiting to share with you!
