Be still {The moments of Intimacy}

I could feel The Lord tugging on my heart, To Stop & to just Be still,
before him this morning.

In these early moments of Stillness,
God dropped a verse into mind.

Psalm 46:10
"Be still, & know that I am
your God...

Instead of turning to the picture-perfect world of Pinterest, or scrolling through my Facebook, Instagram, & twitter feeds to see what's new in cyber world,
or instead of googling topics to write on, or even instead of searching through the Bible only for the best-fitting scriptures for this blog post...
God simply said to me:

"Stop. Cease. Be still. Be intimate. Be silent. Be at peace.
Put your full trust, completely in me."

Yet in that split second, I couldn't help, but want to quench my desires to accurately fill this Blog-post with as much encouragement &
Biblical knowledge to my very best capability,
but God has a bigger plan In store for today!
Are you ready??

'Faith-on-the-go' has always been my kind of mindset.
If you know me on a personal basis, you know that
I adore being the 'head', the leader.
Being involved, organizing, planning, challenging myself, staying very active in the Volunteering ministry,
& of course, coordinating!!

Being busy for God, I thought was the
only way I could feel His presence intimately.
You know that really passionate feeling...
The kind when you get goose bumps all over your arms
& you instantly just want to Dance all around the room, because Jesus is so worthy!? Yeah, that kind!!

I desire to one day be able, to just stop striving, pushing,
& forcing my own ways, but instead to lay everything at
His feet in total surrender to His will & His ways.
Because that's what it truly means to be still in Him.
Quietly submitting to the will of God & quietly waiting for
His 'touch' of intimacy.
An amazing spiritual kingdom, is waiting for us
to step in, into deeper levels.

In the moments of complete chaos, when our hearts are so heavy burdened, when confusion creeps up on us
& we get tossed around in the crashing waves of Life.
God calls us to simply anchor ourselves in him & 'Be still'.
Knowing that He is in control
& has all authority over every situation that my occur.

Ladies, Do we actually take time in the early morning...
(I know 'early' is a scary word for some of us)
before our busy day starts, to sit & talk with Jesus?!
Do we simply stop & 'be still'
before him?

We try to "make time" for the
very one who MADE time~Unknown

Right now, wherever you are, whatever you are doing...
God is calling you to be still :)

Take a breather. Relax. Embrace the moment of His intimate presence. Turn some worship music on. Smile. Make a tea. Put your feet up. Grab your Bible & journal. Talk to Him.
Just 'Be still' before him today.

Until Next time,

~Kerrington
