Lily among the...THORNS!

Becoming the 'Lily!'

 

"Like a lily among the thorns,

so is my darling among the maidens."

-Song Of Solomon 2:2

 

In the culture we currently live in today,

The women folk have truly lost a sense of respect and set-apartness. In the beginning God created women to be a 'Flower.' And No, I don't mean weak and helpless.

He created us to be beautiful with a special purpose in mind,  to create beauty wherever we go.

 

Unfortunately, we have totally lost the idea of being a Flower and many of us have almost became more of a thorn.

 

Holding Grudges, Gossiping, and Tearing each-other down left, right and center. Not allowing God's love to flow through us and always bringing attention to ourselves.

 

After reading that, you may be feeling like quite a thorn...but God doesn't see you as that prickly thing.

He sees you as His beautiful daughter,

a flower who creates beauty.

 

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your incredible Grace and

for your unending forgiveness.

Forgive us,  for the times we have been more of a thorn,

 than the flower you truly created us to be.

Help us to daily look to you, for our strength.

In your precious name, Amen!

 

Well ladies...Go forth and create beauty wherever you go!
